5 places to dine in London
Coming up with the best places in London to wine and dine clients or staff as part of an incentive, promotion or competition event wasn’t easy. Here’s the Pickled Egg top five:

OK, so this rooftop bar-restaurant got the vote because we’ve just organised an incentive travel trip to Japan, but the menu is a very special blend of Japanese, Peruvian and Brazilian cuisines and you can enjoy a cocktail or two with views of the Thames, St Paul’s, the Gherkin et al. Perfect for an incentive weekend in the city.
Want to give it some Gatsby? That’s why we love this place. With its 1920s style and its feel of Edwardian exclusivity, this Mayfair bar is grand, glamorous and a great place to host the most sophisticated of gatherings. Make sure to put the bartenders’ skills to the test.
5cc in the City
Fancy your booze served with a side order of Prohibition-era naughtiness? This is the place to go. In the heart of the city, a secret staircase takes you down to this subterranean bar whose illicit underground drinking den vibe will have you wired long before you get stuck into the killer cocktails. Like whisky? Then welcome to heaven.
More Japanese-Peruvian food to die for, this time in Soho. This place may be all dressed up in black (from the marble floors to the busy waiting staff), but it’s bursting with colour, from the Nikkei-inspired dishes and eruptive cocktail bar to the manga and the glitzy, buzzing atmosphere.
Back in 5 Minutes
We love this restaurant and not just because its hidden location gives it an electric feel of exclusivity. Enter through a clothes shop on Brick Lane, draw back the velvet curtain and you’re whisked into a vintage world where the food is simple and tasty and the drinks are stylish and neat. Great for a supercool incentive.
